KS2 Class Teacher (maternity cover - from 22nd April 2025)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our dedicated team in April 2025, to cover maternity leave for the summer term (in the first instance, although there is a possibility that this could be extended into the autumn term). We are looking for a strong teacher who can take over a class in term 3 of the school year – making strong relationships quickly and inspiring learners.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- has the desire to ensure that every child reaches their full potential (even though this position is temporary)
- takes a pride in the role that they do, engaging with children in an enthusiastic and positive manner
- maintains high standards of learning and fosters good pupil progress – knowing that every day matters for our learners
- establishes good relationships with children, staff and parents and genuinely values these
- has proven resilience – teaching is a tough but incredibly rewarding profession
- embraces active learning – with the children ‘doing’ the learning
