Beware Hoax Messages 24.03.2024 March 2020 (by Gillian Keighley (gkeighley)) |
Sadly, we are aware that there are hoaxes and scams circulating. With respect to your child's education, please only listen to advice from school, respond to emails and messages direct from school and never give your bank details out. If in doubt, please contact the school office by email or, if urgent, by phone.
Our IT Support provider has stated, “We have been informed that some parents have received an email with a message along these lines:
"As schools will be closing, if you're entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we'll make sure you're supported".
We can confirm that this is a scam email and is not official. We urge parents that if you receive any emails like this, please do not respond, and delete it immediately.”
